Japanese Binding

Japanese bookbinding is a traditional technique for binding loose sheets of paper together using a needle and thread. It is known for its beautiful stitching, simple design, and decorative patterns along the spine. There are many different beautiful stitching patterns to choose from.

In this workshop, we will make two different Japanese-bound notebooks using beautiful Japanese washi papers combined with soft, tactile papers.

Notebook details ; 24 × 35 cm and contains 30 washi papers (60 pages).
